The Best
Theme Parks and Zoos
in Southern California

Theme Parks

Have you ever asked yourself these questions, "Who has the BEST theme parks? Who has the BEST roller coasters? DISNEYLAND or Knott's Berry Farm?"

List of amusement parks, zoos, aquariums! CLICK HERE!

corkscrew roller coaster How do you choose? How can anyone choose? It can be hard to decide, I know.

I've found each amusement park is the best in their own way and each is definitely worth visiting. There are tons of attractions, it's so hard to pick a favorite one...

Which one is your favorite?

My favorite pick would be roller coasters, hands down... The scarier... the better!!

Talk about letting your head spin!

Thrill seekers are saying... "What about Magic Mountain, it's a roller coaster lover's dream!"

Theme parks come in all different shapes and sizes. Don't forget about Universal Studios Hollywood or City Walk, it's a must see for your next getaway!

This theme park is attached to an open and airy restaurant and store district called City Walk. You will also find movie theaters and various forms of live entertainment.

The best part is you don't have to pay to get into City Walk... it's FREE!!

If you have a few extra days and want to visit most of these California attractions, then I recommend buying the City Pass. It is a little costly to pay upfront but you SAVE, SAVE, SAVE in the long run. That's what I call a bargain!

Zoos

A leisurely trip to the zoo can be fun filled and exciting for the whole family too. There are so many choices in Southern California! Some of the big ones are Sea World in San Diego and Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

Local zoo's and nature centers have a lot to offer for an easy and quick day trip. They are convenient smaller versions of the bigger zoos. Most are often suitable for toddlers or school aged kids.

Many have kids activities, guided docent tours, and story time days. Be sure to check the list of times when you enter the zoo. There is limited seating and you will need to arrive early.

OC Zoo Storytime Park

The best kept secret about local zoo's is the price of admission. A few zoo's offer FREE entrance for toddlers and other zoos have discounted kid prices.

Another benefit of local zoo's is they are a lot smaller in size, most are just a handful of acres. This makes it is easier for toddlers and younger children to have fun and enjoy. It also keeps their attention and energy focused. The bonus is... you won't break the bank when buying tickets for the whole family.

The OC Zoo is another bargain deal!
You have access to other kids activities and recreation areas, all available in the same "zoo day trip".

And don't forget about the Santa Ana Zoo... this zoo has over 50 monkeys plus many more wild animals... and so much more!
